WE ARE GREATER, AND GREATER FOR, |
Since its founding in 1986, the Chesapeake Women's Network has been the go-to space for professional women to connect and collaborate. With a membership of over 100 businesswomen, we come together to share insights, from discussing economic development to offering advice on balancing family, managing households, caring for aging parents, and excelling in our careers and businesses. We learn from each other’s experiences, support one another through both challenges and successes, and foster an environment where women are encouraged to stay focused on their personal goals while helping others achieve theirs. While each of us is capable of accomplishing great things individually, there’s an undeniable strength when women come together to network. The power of our collective efforts is extraordinary and when we work in unison, we’re unstoppable. 2024 CWN Scholarship recipients, Caroline Phillips, Jordan Dixon, Kristie Carroll, and Jenn Kelly. CWN is proud to offer a yearly scholarship that empowers women who are pursuing further education for a variety of reasons. Over the years, we’ve awarded scholarships to women who are single mothers, wives caring for ill spouses, and survivors of abuse striving to break the cycle of dependency—often while balancing work and school. Their stories are powerful reminders of the unbreakable resilience of women. Through our scholarship fund, we stand behind them as they pursue their dreams, and watching them reach their goals is truly inspiring.
